The Bucks County        Gilbert & Sullivan Society

The Bucks County Gilbert & Sullivan Society is pleased to announce that for our Tenth Anniversary we will present some of Gilbert & Sullivan's most lyrical songs and memorable characters, in The Yeomen of the Guard — set in the Tower of London during Henry VIII’s reign, with drama, comedy, and the soaring orchestral music for which our namesakes are world renowned. Please keep the weekend of June 15, 16, 17, 2018 open on your calendar!

Chorus Auditions/Meet & Greet
for ‘The Yeomen of the Guard’

We are pleased to announce our Chorus Auditions:

When:  Sunday March 18 starting at 6:30 PM.
Who: open to all male and female singers age 16 and over
Where: Faith Hall, at Trinity Episcopal Church, Buckingham. 2631 Durham Road (corner of Routes 202 and 413), Buckingham 18912.
What: Chorus auditions will be a part of this evening, combined with a Meet & Greet social for all to get to know our director and staff, and a fun read-through of the show involving everyone who comes.  Light refreshments will be served.

To men who wish to audition, rest assured: there is NO DANCING in the show for men, just beautiful choral singing - so don’t let a fear of dancing keep you away!
Once rehearsals for Yeomen begin just before Easter, they will be primarily on Wednesday (starting at 7 pm) and Sunday evenings (starting at 6:30 pm). We request that chorus members purchase their own copy of 'The Yeomen of the Guard' score, published by Schirmer. It is easy to order online on Amazon by clicking HERE.

Members of the cast are encouraged to become official members of the Bucks County Gilbert & Sullivan Society by filling out a membership form on our website HERE and by paying the annual dues of $45. Dues may be paid by check made out to BCGSS and mailed to BCGSS, PO Box 455, Doylestown, PA 18901; or by clicking on the ‘Donate’ button at the top of our homepage at .  Please note on the donation form that this $45 is for your membership dues.
